Children's author Hildegarde Ford, 97, died April 14 at her home in Princeton, Ill. In September, the 50th anniversary edition of her My Go to Bed Book will be released by B&H Publishing Group, company officials said.

The book had been out of print for more than 20 years. Broadman Press originally published My Go to Bed Book in 1956.

Ford is survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
