Music industry executive Chris Erlanson has announced the formation of 168 Management, a new artist company that interweaves management and marketing.

“The name 168 Management comes from the fact that there are 168 hours in the week,” Erlanson said. “Too many times (artists put) their focus into the single hour that they have on stage. … 168 Management develops a plan with every artist to be effective even when they’re not on stage through Internet, media and various nontraditional means.”

Erlanson spent eight years at INO Records, SRE Recordings and the former M2.0 Communications. While he was director of marketing and operations for INO Records, Erlanson worked in sales and marketing efforts for artists such as MercyMe, CeCe Winans, Darlene Zschech, Chris Rice, Sara Groves, The Afters, The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Echoing Angels and Decyfer Down.
