B&H Publishing Group's Holman Bible Publishers division will launch on May 14 HolmanTV.com, a video blog designed to expose high school and college students to The Holman Student Bible, which releases in July, company officials said.

Holman TV will feature a series of three- to five-minute weekly video episodes, which will be posted on social networking and video sites such as MySpace, YouTube and FaceBook. The videos will follow the lives of “Holman” and “Gigi,” twentysomethings who make their way in and around Nashville in search of a break in the music industry.

“We're going where our audience is already active-online,” said Steve NeSmith, B&H's director of e-business. “We're not just selling them a product, but rather integrating into their community. It's a lot more work than a traditional campaign, but it's also a whole lot more fun.”

B&H officials said they hope the online campaign will help pave the way for a new era in innovative Christian marketing.
