Leading Lady Publications (LLP), an African-American Christian publishing company, was recently voted Best Small Press Award of 2006. The program, which is sponsored by Marguerite Press, recognizes the accomplishments of small publishing companies nationwide.

LLP CEO and Publisher Tamika Johnson called the award “an incredible honor for many reasons, one being that we were the only Christian publishing company nominated.”

“It is important that African-American Christian authors have a company that understands their experience and can help push their message,” said Johnson, who launched Leading Lady Publications in May 2006.
