DaySpring Cards has started a new business called Blessings Unlimited, which offers products through independent consultants nationwide, the Arkansas-based company announced. Blessings Unlimited, a direct-sales company that provides a home-based business opportunity, has designed an in-home party experience called “Gatherings,” which will showcase products in a different way from a standard retail or online environment, company officials said. According to the Direct Selling Association, more than 14 million people in the U.S. are involved in direct sales. More than 80% of these direct sellers are women who work part time at home-based businesses. Entering direct sales enables DaySpring to interact with consumers in a personal and engaging way, company officials said. James Barnett, president of DaySpring, said the company is “very excited about the addition of direct selling to DaySpring's core retail business through Christian stores. Blessings Unlimited is in direct alignment with DaySpring's mission and does not change our firm commitment to other customers. It simply opens the doors and provides more ways for the consumer to interact with Christian products.”
Julie Vickers, director of Blessings Unlimited, noted that “many people have a deep desire to combine their faith and work. Blessings Unlimited gives them a way to earn income with their own home-based business.”
