Jenkins' 'Midnight Clear' wins movie award |

Dallas Jenkins, director and producer of the independent feature film Midnight Clear, received the Best First Feature Film award in the Maverick Narrative Feature Competition during the 2007 Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, Calif., March 11, according to film festival officials. Starring Stephen Baldwin, Midnight Clear is based on a short story by Jerry Jenkins, Dallas Jenkins' father and novelist of the “Left Behind” series. Dallas Jenkins had previously produced a film short of Midnight Clear, which is currently available on DVD.
