and The Ten Commandments were the big winners for this year's John Templeton Foundation Epiphany Prizes for Inspiring Movies & TV.

The silver screen version of the Christmas story received the $50,000 Epiphany Prize for Film, while the miniseries depicting the biblical story of Moses and the Exodus garnered the $50,000 Epiphany Prize for Television during the 15th Annual Movieguide Faith & Values Awards & Report to the Entertainment Industry, held Tuesday in Beverly Hills, Calif., Assist News Service (ANS) reported.

Charlotte's Web was named the Best 2066 Film for Families and The Queen was recognized the The Best 2006 Film for Mature Audiences. The Grace Award for Inspiring Acting (Film) was given to Oscar Isaac for The Nativity Story, while the Grace Award for Inspiring Acting (Television) went to Shirley Jones for Hidden Places, ANS reported.

The $50,000 Epiphany Prizes are given to the best movie and the best TV show during the previous year that “resulted in a great increase in man's love or understanding of God.”
