Several additions have been confirmed for two CBA Advance 2007 programs, organizers announced. Zach Hunter, a young Christian activist and “modern day abolitionist,” will be part of the Independents Day luncheon on Feb. 2. A seventh-grader from Virginia, Hunter began the Loose Change to Loosen Chains program to raise money through schools and youth groups to rescue victims of slavery worldwide. He is also the student spokesperson for Walden Media's social justice campaign The Amazing Change. In March, Zondervan is scheduled to release Hunter's Be the Change: Your Guide to Freeing Slaves and Changing the World in Other Ways.
Meanwhile, publishing executives Dwight Baker (Baker Publishing Group), Doug Lockhart (Zondervan), Michael Hyatt (Thomas Nelson), Ken Stephens (B&H Publishing Group) and Mark Taylor (Tyndale House) have been added to the Emergent Issues session during the Future of the Industry Conference on Jan. 30. CBA Advance 2007 is scheduled for Jan. 29-Feb. 2 in Indianapolis.
