ECPA's Pub U to begin Sunday Print

The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) is to hold its third-annual Publishing University (Pub U) program Sunday through Tuesday. The event-which will be held at the Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale, Ill.-will focus on Publishing in a Digital World.

Discussions and sessions will include topics such as What's Next for Publishing? Exploring Your Options for Digital Distribution, Digital Publishing: Building New Revenue Opportunities on Frontlist and Backlist Books, Planning Strategically: Thinking Digitally, Content: Protecting, Managing and Leveraging Your Digital Assets, and Marketing: Making Your Message Known in Bits and Bytes.

Educational tracks also will be offered in Advanced Management, Editorial & Content Development, Marketing, Rights Management, Emerging Technology & Systems, and Sales. Editorial Vice President of Crossway Books & Bibles Allan Fisher will lead a Publishing 101 pre-conference “boot camp” on Sunday for individuals new to the Christian publishing industry.
