The GMA Dove Awards will be hosted by Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell, as well as Natalie Grant and Donnie McClurkin, the Gospel Music Association (GMA) announced Friday.

The 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be presented on April 25, 2007, at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The opening ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the broadcast taped portion running from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. CST. Nominations will be announced on Feb. 20, 2007.

Littrell won his first Dove Award last year for Inspirational Recorded Song for “In Christ Alone” from Wow #1's, and he has since released a full-length solo project on Reunion Records. Grant and McClurkin are also Dove Award winners.

The show will be broadcast in national syndication during May. ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox broadcast affiliates in Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Cleveland, New Orleans and Nashville are among the more than 50 TV stations due to carry the 2007 broadcast.

The GMA announcement also signaled a return to the award show's original name after three years as The GMA Music Awards.
