Cincinnati-based Standard Publishing has announced the addition of Ron Cox and Matthew Lockhart to its leadership team. Cox will serve as senior vice president of sales and marketing, while Lockhart has been appointed director of product development.

Cox most recently served as president of Steck Vaughn, an educational publisher. “The long, respected history of Standard Publishing, the dedication of the many fine people here and the opportunity to be part of a new management team make this an exciting place to be,” said Cox, who has had 25 years in educational publishing.

Lockhart, who recently worked in editorial product development roles at Group Publishing, said he was “happy to be here and excited about the opportunity to work together with a great team.”
