Console video game publisher Crave Entertainment announced they have signed an agreement with Big Idea to publish the first VeggieTales interactive title for video-game consoles, LarryBoy and the Bad Apple, to release late this summer. The action-adventure game will feature LarryBoy, the crime-fighting cucumber featured in several of the best-selling videos, in his quest to save the citizens of Bumblyburg from temptation. The game will retail for $19.99 and will be formatted for PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance platforms.
“The VeggieTales stories are a big hit with children and adults alike,” said Rob Dyer, chief operating officer of Crave Entertainment. “This agreement supports our continuing commitment to providing quality, family-friendly interactive entertainment that appeals to a wide audience.”
