Augsburg Fortress, the publishing arm of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, has named Bill Huff its vice president of publishing, effective May 1. In this new role, Huff will lead all four Augsburg Fortress publishing teams: Worship & Music, Congregational Life & Learning, Books and New Media.

“This position is about creating new possibilities for publishing and developing new publishing partnerships,” said Beth Lewis, president and CEO of Augsburg Fortress. “It will help us continue to respond quickly and efficiently to the needs of our customers.”

Huff joined Augsburg Fortress in 1998 and has served as product manager for congregational resources, general manager of former Congregational Resources Team and publisher of the Congregational Life & Learning publishing team.
