Provident Label Group has acquired Flicker Records, its catalog and children's label Big House Kids. Flicker's roster includes Monk & Neagle, Pillar, T-Bone, The Swift, Everyday Sunday, Kids in the Way and Staple. Among debuting artists represented by Flicker are Fireflight, Eleventyseven, Flatfoot 56 and Until June.

Provident-Integrity Distribution has commenced handling all sales/distribution of Flicker titles in the Christian retail market, while Sony Red will distribute to the general market beginning April 3.

EMI CMG Distribution will continue to process all catalog orders for Flicker Records titles through Friday, March 31. Provident-Integrity/Sony Red will begin processing catalog orders Monday, April 3.

“Flicker has operated very effectively as an independent label within a unique subculture of Christian music,” said Mike Craft, chief operating officer and senior vice president of administration for Provident. “We believe this is an area that has strong promise for the future. The affiliation with Provident Label Group should give Flicker's artists an opportunity to accelerate their growth to a higher level.”
