Integrity Publishers has hired Mark Gilroy as senior vice president and publisher of new imprint Integrity House. Gilroy has signed Newt Gingrich to the imprint for his next book, The Creator's Gifts, to release in August. The Gingrich book is one of 16 titles Integrity House will release in the summer and fall of 2006, Gilroy said. “We will publish a nice mix of high-concept, specialized trade books, selected gift books and unique church resources that nicely complement our existing adult trade and family imprints,” he said. “We are elated to have someone with Mark's creativity and experience leading Integrity's launch of a new venture,” said Byron Williamson, Integrity president and CEO. “Mark brings notable expertise in managing strategic partnerships with retail and direct-to-consumer marketers.”
Gilroy, a 20-year industry veteran, previously served as executive vice president and publisher at Eagle Communications in Tulsa, Okla., and also worked at Nazarene Publishing House in Kansas City, Mo., for 15 years.
