Kingsway Communications Ltd., a top producer and distributor of worship songs in the United Kingdom and Europe, has signed or renewed U.S. distribution agreements with both Faithworks and EMI CMG.

EMI CMG Publishing has extended its long-term, co-publishing agreement with Kingsway's ThankYou Music to sign, develop and promote worship music songwriters for both publishing houses which now include Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, Vicky Beeching, Stuart Townend and Brenton Brown. In addition to the co-publishing relationship, EMI CMG, by the way of a 2001 acquisition, will continue to administer 50% of ThankYou Music's catalog, which currently includes more than 4,000 songs.

Send the Light (STL) and FaithWorks signed an agreement to distribute products from Kingsway in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement will comprise other music products not covered by EMI CMG's agreement, and all of Kingsway's book products. Kingsway is distributed by STL/FaithWorks' parent company, Send the Light Ltd., in the U.K. and Europe. This agreement is one of a number which have seen publishers signing American distribution agreements as a result of STL's purchase of Faithworks.
