Moody Publishers announced a new partnership with Inspirational Publishers Group (IPG) to begin Jan. 1. The new partnership with IPG will provide sales and representation for Moody Publishers product, including Northfield Publishing and the Lift Every Voice imprint, to independent Christian bookstores in the U.S. Sales and distribution of Moody product to Christian chains will remain in-house.

IPG also represents Multnomah Publishers and Gospel Light/Regal, which Moody hopes will aid the supply chain for retailers, according to Moody Vice President Greg Thornton.

For the last two years, the Broadman & Holman sales team has represented Moody titles to Christian retailers. That contract expires Dec. 31.

Inspirational Publishers Group (IPG), a subsidiary of GL Services, began serving CBA independent stores across the U.S. in September. The Tulsa, Okla.-based IPG was founded to provide a solution to sales representation for the CBA marketplace.
