The issue, which hits newsstands this week, features a cover story by religion writer David Van Biema that includes the perspective of Left Behind novelist Jerry Jenkins, whose most recent work is a novella on the relationship between Joseph and Jesus, titled Holding Heaven (Integrity Publishers).

Van Biema examines how Joseph's role in the life of Jesus has been downplayed throughout centuries and credits Jenkins with tapping into the subject of Joseph.
