Sony released Left Behind: World at War on DVD Oct. 25-the first time a major studio has substantially funded an evangelical film, according to The New York Times. Churches and ministries were able to show the film-the third film in the “Left Behind” series-on Oct. 21 for a licensing fee.

From reports given to Cloud Ten Pictures by approximately 688 of more than 3,200 churches, it is estimated that 1,914 people made a commitment to Christ after viewing the film.
