Christian music industry mourns loss of Nickolas Gonzalez |

Musician/songwriter Nickolas González died of heart failure on Oct. 18 at the age of 30. González entered the Christian music industry as the guitarist for Jaci Velásquez. In addition to touring with her, he wrote hit songs in both Spanish and English, including the No. 1 hit "In and Out" for Avalon and "You Don't Miss a Thing," which was featured on a Velásquez album. Known for his sense of humor, González had survived two nearly fatal accidents in the last several years. González was the only child of Linda and Robert González-founders of Christian radio station KSBJ in Houston. He is also survived by his wife, Haylie.
