Cook Communications Ministries has announced a merger with Scripture Press Ministries, a foundation located in Wheaton, Ill. The foundation will become part of Cook's mission arm, Cook Communications Ministries International (CCMI). Cook is based in Colorado Springs, Colo. The foundation most recently has been involved in providing ministry resources to pastors worldwide, primarily in Africa. CCMI is working in more than 80 countries and in 150 languages to build the church and families by providing products to support discipleship. According to Cook Communications President David Mehlis, Scripture Press Ministries will help accelerate Cook's distribution of Christian discipleship materials and Bibles to needy churches and individuals worldwide.
"We're overjoyed to have joined forces in the spreading of the gospel in this way," Mehlis said. "Feasibly millions of individuals have been blessed by our previous merger with Scripture Press Publishing years ago. Having Scripture Press Ministries on board will also prove to be a blessing to millions."
