Big Idea Productions founder and VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer is launching a new "creative shop," dubbed Jellyfish, to develop Christian book, video, television and film projects for families. "God has taken me on an incredible journey since the collapse of Big Idea Productions in 2003," Vischer said in a statement. "I've been able to face my mistakes, learn some extraordinary lessons and deepen my relationship with Him. Now I feel Him telling me it's time to start creating again."
After Big Idea filed for bankruptcy and was purchased by Classic Media in December 2003, Vischer was retained as a consultant and currently serves in that capacity.
