INO Records' new rock imprint label has a name-S/R/E Recordings, which stands for "Significance, Relevance & Excellence." The rock-focused label aims to bring new, diverse talent to the music industry, according to Steve Ford, president and general manager of INO.

Partnering with Epic Records, the label will have distribution in the mainstream and CBA markets. The first project is due to be released in June.

"After much consideration and searching, we chose S/R/E as the name of the label because we wanted to make sure we never forget the essentials; to make music that is significant, that is culturally relevant and artistically excellent," Ford said. "I can commit that each of the artists on the label will meet this criteria."
