According to Nelson Bibles, pre-sale orders of the New King James Version (NKJV) special-edition Bible for the Million Bible Challenge have surpassed a quarter of the total sales goal. The challenge officially begins in March.

Christian retailers will be allowed to sell the Bibles at the low price of five for $5, or in case lots of 20 for $20. Through the promotion, the publisher hopes to spread the gospel to 1 million people in one year's time and to increase traffic in Christian bookstores.
