Originally broadcast as part of their “The Way of the Master” TV series, Ray Comfort’s and Kirk Cameron’s Why Christianity? is released next month by Living Waters Publications (800-437-1893) as a stand-alone program. Intended for use in outreach, the 30-minute evangelistic program retails for $5. Filmmakers John Schimke and Stewart Redwine last month released their latest modern-day recasting of some of Jesus’ teachings. Zondervan’s 36 Parables: Amber offers three vignettes as discussion-starters, including the parable of the good shepherd. The 35-minute program sells for $19.99. Next month will see the arrival of Read and Share DVD Bible: Volume 4. The hour-long Thomas Nelson release for ages 3 to 7 includes 13 lessons, featuring such Bible characters as Gideon and Hannah. Retail price, $14.99.
