Former Sen. Rick Santorum is scheduled to speak this month at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in St. Louis. He will "thank Christian retailers for their commitment to faith and families" right before the New Voices Showcase concert at 8:30 p.m., Sunday, June 23, CBA officials said.

A staunch social conservative, Santorum was the underdog who made it near the top of the 2012 Republican presidential race and won the Iowa caucuses. Prior to running for president, Santorum served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1991 to 1995, and in the U.S. Senate from 1995 to 2007.

In addition to American Patriots (Tyndale House Publishers, October 2012), he wrote the 2005 New York Times best-seller It Takes a Family (Intercollegiate Studies Institute). Santorum recently took on a leadership role with the development of EchoLight Studios, which produces and distributes faith-based and family-friendly films.
