Audio company eChristian’s audiobook download site, christianaudio.com, will process its 1-millionth order this month.

“This is a significant achievement for any organization,” said eChristian President Cory Verner. “A milestone like this proves that independents can gain significant traction in digital markets.”

Launched in 2005, christianaudio.com was eChristian’s first venture into online retailing, and the site now has more than 4,500 titles available. The company—which is based in Escondido, Calif., with additional offices in Carol Stream, Ill.—has now expanded to include eChristian.com, an online destination for Christian eBooks.

The company also recently announced Nate Paschall’s promotion to national sales manager for all imprints of the eC Publishing Group. CEO Todd Hoyt said that Paschall has “an aptitude for creative thinking and how best to serve the customer” as well as “a heart and desire that matches the vision of eChristian.”

Founded in 2004 as christianaudio, the company changed its name in 2011 to eChristian Inc. to encompass all of its business divisions: eChristian.com, eC Publishing Group, Livingstone and the eChristian retail platform that supports websites for stores and ministries.
