DaySpring promotes four executives

Card and gift company DaySpring has promoted four executives to new roles within the company.

"In order to grow DaySpring's position as an industry leader and innovator, it is essential for our executive team to bring excitement, creativity and strong strategic leadership to our sales channels and product development," said James Barnett, company president. "Bill Couey, Gary Harris, Stephen Bos and David Jones have exhibited those skills for DaySpring."

Couey was promoted from vice president of operations to senior vice president and general manager of the greetings division. In his new role, he oversees the operations, creative and product marketing functions related to greeting card products.

Harris was appointed senior vice president of business development, retail. He most recently served as vice president and general manager of sales. In his new position, Harris will oversee the business development, category management and retail environment for all retail accounts.

Bos, whose most recent role was director of business development, direct to consumer, was appointed vice president of business development, direct to consumer.

Jones, now vice president and general manager, specialty, is responsible for specialty gift and calendar products for all channels of distribution. His previous roles include director of customer marketing-general market and director of product marketing.
