LoriCloud-webW Publishing Group announced today the hiring of Lori Cloud as vice president of marketing. Recently serving as an executive director of client services for G7 Entertainment Marketing, Cloud brings with her a wealth of experience in a variety of marketing areas.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled that Lori will be joining the W team,” said Matt Baugher, senior vice president and publisher of the Thomas Nelson imprint. “Her past resume speaks for itself, and her considerable skills are a perfect fit for the current challenges and opportunities that exist in our industry. She will play an important role in the launch campaigns for W’s key titles in 2015, including books by Jep and Jessica Robertson, Korie Robertson, Randall Wallace, Billy Graham, Robert Morris, the Benham brothers and many more.”

At G7, her role was to identify unique opportunities, formulate groundbreaking campaigns and deliver programs with measurable results. She has worked on campaigns such as Harley-Davidson's Kid Rock Rebel Soul tour, Cracker Barrel's Brad Paisley Can't Beat This Summer Tour and Diet Coke's Taylor Swift RED Tour.

Previously, Cloud was vice president, brand strategy and digital media at Big Enterprises, an artist management company, and a brand agent at the Los Angeles headquarters of Creative Artists Agency, where she managed client relationships such as The Coca-Cola Co., P&G, Sprint, Harley-Davidson Motor Co. and Starwood Hotels.
