GregMorrow-webGregory Morrow, formerly vice president and general manager of Invisalign—Align Technology, is the senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer of Family Christian Stores, effective Oct. 7.

“Greg Morrow joins Family Christian from a variety of successful brand-building experiences,” said Family Christian CEO Chuck Bengochea. “His expertise in brand development and marketing leadership will significantly impact our business across every channel in which we operate. We have an incredible story to tell. We are a not-for-profit business investing in ministries and impacting lives for Jesus Christ around the world. We aspire to be the world’s best Christian retailer. Greg will be leading the way in shaping our brand and in sharing what God is doing at and through Family Christian.”

Morrow recently completed the Stanford Executive Program in Palo Alto, California, and has spent half of his career in health care building brands in eye care and dentistry. Most recently, he led the Invisalign brand franchise where he served as vice president and general manager with responsibility for the North American business as well as new product pipeline and portfolio.

The foundations of Morrow’s 20-year marketing career were built at Procter & Gamble Co., leading some of the world’s best-known brands in the food and beverage industry. Morrow led businesses not only in the United States, but also overseas in South Korea and Japan, where he achieved breakthrough market-share results with new business models and enabled distribution partnerships at retail. Morrow also led the Powerade brand as a general manager for the Hydration Business Unit at the Coca-Cola Co. in Atlanta.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Morrow served in the U.S. Navy with distinction as a naval officer on the USS Doyle (FFG-39) and at the Pentagon. He earned his MBA from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. Morrow and his wife, Sue, have been married for 25 years and have two daughters.

“I feel extremely blessed to work among the people at Family Christian who place the needs of others before themselves,” Morrow said. “My family and I attend Access Church in Jacksonville, Fla., an Atlanta-based Northpoint Community Church affiliate, but I became a Christian through my roommate at the academy, and he remains a dear friend to this day. This is my first nonprofit endeavor, and I am excited to make the transition.”

“Greg brings the heart, skill, gifts and experience that will greatly benefit our ability to serve our guests and advance the ministries of Family Christian,” Bengochea said. “Greg, with his heart to serve, will have great impact as we passionately pursue our mission to help our customers find, grow, share and celebrate their faith in Jesus Christ.”
