Baker Publishing Group appoints new marketing director Print

MarkRiceBaker Publishing Group announced that Mark Rice has been appointed executive director of marketing for Baker Books and Bibles.

Rice graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Calvin College. Most recently he served as the director of Faith Alive Christian Resources, the publishing ministry of the Christian Reformed Church in North America. He has also held a number of positions at Zondervan, including vice president of book marketing, vice president of corporate communications, and senior director of branding and communications. Rice will begin his new role at Baker Publishing Group in mid-March.

“We are very happy to have Mark Rice join our team,” said David Lewis, executive vice president of marketing and sales at Baker Publishing Group. “Rice brings a great wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership to the position. He will be a great fit with us.”
