Author Shannon Ethridge encourages readers to get back to basics

Editorial Unilit will release a series of five devotional books this month, encouraging women to get back to the foundational truths of the faith. The “Ama a Jesús sin límites” (“Loving Jesus Without Limits”) series, was written by best-selling author Shannon Ethridge and was originally published in English by WaterBrook Press.

“The series gives a good overview of the basics of Christianity—like prayer and forgiveness—just from a different angle,” said Rick Heyer, manager of U.S. sales and key accounts at Editorial Unilit.
The first and longest book in the series, Suya por completo: Ama a Jesús sin límites (Completely His: Loving Jesus Without Limits, 978-0-789-91692-1, $10.99), released in English in June 2007. The remaining four titles expound on the themes in the initial book, each of them including 30 days’ worth of readings.

“The nice thing is that each of these devotional books can stand on their own, yet they read like a book,” Heyer said.

The translations of the other titles in the series are: Amado por completo: Reconoce la apasionada búsqueda de Dios por nosotras (Completely Loved: Recognizing God’s Passionate Pursuit of Us, -1694-5, $9.99), Perdonada por completo: Responde a la gracia transformadora de Dios (Completely Forgiven: Responding to God’s Transforming Grace, -1695-2, $9.99), Bendecida por completo: Descubre los extraordinarios dones de Dios (Completely Blessed: Discovering God’s Extraordinary Gifts, -1693-8, $9.99) and Irrestible por completo: Atrae a otros al extravagante amor de Dios (Completely
Irresistible: Drawing Others to God’s Extravagant Love, -1696-9, $9.99).

Heyer said the series is “deep enough to bring women closer to Christ and have a more intimate relationship with Him. Isn’t that something we as human beings all desire—being closer to our Creator? The books also have a personal touch from the author, giving different aspects of her testimony.”

Ethridge is the founder of Women at the Well Ministries and author of multiple books, including the best-seller Every Woman’s Battle.
