Casiodoro de reinaEditorial Concordia, the Spanish division of Concordia Publishing House, has just released the biography Casiodoro de Reina, patriarca del protestantismo hispano (Casiodoro de Reina, patriarch of Hispanic Protestantism) by Raymond S. Rosales. The $16.99 hardcover is the first-known effort to gather the writings of the monk and Spanish reformer who played a vital role in translating the Reina-Valera version of the Bible.

In Las enseñanzas de Jesús para la mujer de hoy: Aprende de las mujeres del Nuevo Testamento (A Woman Jesus Can Teach: Lessons From New Testament Women), academic dean Alice Mathews brings to life some of the women—named and unnamed—in the New Testament. Originally released in English in 1991 by Discovery House Publishers, the $8.99 Whitaker House paperback releases next month.
