En BuscaBest-selling author William Steuart McBirnie uncovers the “fascinating untold histories of Christ’s apostles and their activities, offering readers a snapshot of the life of each apostle” in En busca de los doce apóstoles (The Search for the Twelve Apostles, $13.99). Available Feb. 1 from Tyndale Español, its parent company, Tyndale House Publishers, released the English version in May. McBirnie, who has spent more than 30 years studying early church history, presents a “dramatic tale of the men who knew Jesus the best—and were transformed because of it.”

La promesaEditorial Patmos released La Promesa by Wayde Goodall with Rosalyn Goodall (The Blessing, $11.95) in December. The book clarifies and gives a scriptural basis to the oft-debated subject of speaking in tongues. Creation House released the English version in September 2005.

Liturgical Press will release Fundamentalismo bíblico by Ronald D. Witherup (Biblical Fundamentalism, $10.95) in February. The author summarizes what he believes “every Catholic should know” with chapters on the origins of biblical fundamentalism, fundamentalist and Catholic approaches to the Bible, evaluating fundamentalism and the Catholic response. Winner of the 2002 Catholic Press Association Award, the original book by Liturgical Press was released in 2001.

Del corazón (From the Heart, $14.98), a contemporary praise & worship album featuring Lucía Parker, was released by 3:16 Media in November. Produced under the direction of 3:16 Media President Dario Navac and Tom Brooks, musical producer, the project includes a duet with singer-songwriter Darlene Zschech.

John Eckhardt authored Oraciones que derrotan a los demonios (Prayers That Rout Demons, $7.99), which debuts Jan. 6 from Casa Creación, Strang Communications’ Spanish imprint, a year after Charisma House published the English version.
