Myles Munroe, president and senior pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries International, authored El Principio de la paternidad (The Fatherhood Principle, $11.99), released by Whitaker House in English in March and in Spanish in October. The author shows that in fatherhood, man “has been designed by God to reflect His nature in the lives of those around him.” Another title from Munroe also launched in October. Libere su potencial (Releasing Your Potential, $9.99), published in Argentina by Producciones Peniel, is available in the U.S. through Editorial Vida (Zondervan). The book is a translation of a Munroe classic first published in 1992 with a revised and expanded edition released from Destiny Image Publishers in February 2007. Perry Stone, director of Voice of Evangelism, wrote El alimento que sana (The Meal That Heals, $9.99), available from Casa Creación, Strang Communications’ Spanish imprint. It was to release Nov. 4, two months after Charisma House published the English version. Stone shows the parallels between the manna provided for the Israelites in the wilderness and Christ’s experience on the cross. Casscom Media debuted the audiobook El espíritu de martirio (The Spirit of Martyrdom, $14.99) Oct. 10, nearly a year after producing the English audiobook. Narrated by Juan Ovalle, the four-CD set is based on a script by David Witt and Mujahid El Masih and answers such questions as: What is the difference between Islamic and biblical martyrdom? and Why is martyrdom the key to understanding Islamic terrorism? Grupo Nelson, Thomas Nelson’s Spanish division, released the CD-ROM BECA financiera ($49.99), Nov. 4. The original Spanish product gives Scripture-based financial advice from Andrés Panasiuk, director of the Hispanic department of Christian Financial Concepts.
