Worthy, Genesis Marketing Group partner Print Email

worthy-publishing-logoWorthy Publishing announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Genesis Marketing Group for sales representation to the independent Christian retail market across the U.S., effective April 1. The decision was driven by Worthy’s continuing rapid growth and a long-term commitment to serving independent Christian retailers.

Byron Williamson, president and publisher of Worthy Publishing, said he hoped this would improve relationships with retailers.

“As Worthy continues to grow, we felt a need to enhance our relationship with CBA retailers, a historically important sales channel,” Williamson said. “Partnering with Genesis allows us to do just that, so we’re excited to move forward with the Genesis team at our side.”

As of April 1, Worthy Publishing will transition from its current sales team at Capitol Christian to the team at Genesis Marketing Group. However, Worthy will continue its recently renewed relationship with Capitol Christian as its fulfillment partner.

“We’re grateful to Capitol Christian for their continued support of our mission and their ongoing help with our expanding fulfillment needs,” Williamson said.

In his remarks, David George from Genesis Marketing Group seemed optimistic about the new partnership.

“We love the team at Worthy Publishing, and we’re excited to support them in this capacity,” George said. “We believe in their products, so it’s an honor to be a part of the team putting their authors and books in the hands of booksellers.”
