Warner-Press-logoWarner Press will be releasing new adult-coloring books that feature Scripture-based designs and pages that allow room for journaling, reflection and prayer. Coloring has gained popularity among adult consumers as a way to relieve stress and express creativity.

Peaceful Reflections: Creative Coloring Pages for Prayer & Journaling and Beloved Scriptures: Creative Coloring Pages for Peace & Inspiration feature detailed designs for coloring based on Bible verses. In Peaceful Reflections, all of the verses involve the theme of peace, while the art in Beloved Scriptures uses some of the most familiar verses of the Bible. A journaling page opposite each coloring page includes a “thought-starter” and space to jot down thoughts or prayers that may come to mind while coloring.

Each 64-page book has 30 pages for coloring and 30 pages for journaling, and has a suggested retail of $9.99. The books are made with lay-flat binding and heavy paper stock.

Regina Jackson, vice president of product management, explained why Warner Press decided to enter this market.

“With the growing popularity of coloring among adults, we saw an opportunity in the marketplace to serve those who want coloring books with a Christian focus,” said Jackson. “The journaling pages in our books are a unique feature that allow someone to write down thoughts or prayers that are sparked while they color. They can engage their faith and their creative side at the same time.”

The coloring books are slated for release in December.
