TheComeback-webThomas Nelson has announced an exclusive partnership with Passion Publishing, part of the Passion movement led by Louie Giglio. The venture will include multiple trade releases through the W Publishing Group imprint from Louie Giglio and others from the Passion family, as well as curriculum, gift and Bible products.

“We couldn’t be more excited about this new publishing partnership with some of the finest people in the book space,” Giglio said. “W Publishing Group and Thomas Nelson have extraordinary potential to help us in our continuing mission to make Jesus famous in this generation.”

The decision to enter into the publishing space follows Passion’s successful launch of sixstepsrecords in 2000, which now features some of the most well-known worship artists in the world, including Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Matt Redman, Christy Nockels, Kristian Stanfill and Passion Band. The same collaborative approach will be taken in the development of Passion Publishing and will be led by Matt Baugher, senior vice president of W Publishing Group, and by Kevin Marks, managing director of Passion Publishing. Marks was a longtime executive at Multnomah Publishers and recently relocated to Atlanta to assist Louie and Shelley Giglio in the launch of this publishing venture.

Passion Publishing's first release will be The Comeback: It’s Not Too Late and You’re Never Too Far by Louie Giglio, with an on-sale date of Oct. 20. Giglio is the pastor of Passion City Church in Atlanta and founder of Passion Conferences.

“For close to 20 years Passion’s call has been singular—to point people to what matters most, the name and renown of Jesus Christ,” Marks said. “And, it’s an amazing privilege to now carry the messages reverberating from the Passion Movement to the world in printed and digital formats. We’re thankful to be in partnership with the experienced and talented Thomas Nelson team, and believe they are uniquely positioned to help us amplify our messages globally.”

“We couldn’t be more excited about this new venture,” Baugher said. “The Passion team has lead some of the biggest growth of the last 15 years on the music side, and they are now bringing that same creative focus to book publishing. We look forward to a great success.”
