JepJessicaRobertson-web-TwitterW Publishing Group, an imprint of Thomas Nelson, has secured the rights for The Good, The Bad, and The Grace of God, the first trade book from Jep and Jessica Robertson of A&E’s Duck Dynasty. In the book, the pair will share their personal story, one that involves rebellion, drugs, divorce, redemption and forgiveness.

“Here is what we know for sure: Forgiveness makes love possible,” said Jep and Jessica Robertson. “No one is perfect. We are all sinners. We must do the best that we can and learn to accept that sometimes we will fail. Love and forgiveness are necessary.”

W Publishing Group executive Matt Baugher is pleased with the acquisition.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be able to expand our partnership with the Robertson family,” said Baugher, senior vice president and publisher for the imprint. “The Faith Commander video curriculum has recently released, and we are now proud to announce the signing of Jep and Jessica as well. The impact of their story goes far beyond a mere association with Duck Dynasty and presents an intimate, vulnerable and courageous path that each took to find each other and to find God. We look forward to sharing this story with fans both old and new around the world.”

The youngest son of Phil and Kay Robertson, Jules Jeptha “Jep” Robertson, is the cameraman and editor for Duck Commander, the Robertsons’ family business, capturing footage for the “Duckmen” DVD series. Jessica previously worked as a licensed real-estate agent and most recently in sales. Jessica and Jep have four children.
