Phil Robertson, patriarch of the A&E reality television series Duck Dynasty, has endorsed the book God Less America (FrontLine) by Todd Starnes, host of “FOX News & Commentary.”

Robertson, also known as “The Duck Commander,” posted the endorsement on his Facebook page encouraging followers to pick up a copy of Starnes’ exposé on the attack on traditional values in America.

“FOX News Channel’s Todd Starnes feels like a Duck Dynasty guy living in a Miley Cyrus world,” Robertson stated. “That’s the opening line of his new book, God Less America. He explores the attacks on traditional American values and the Left’s war on religious liberty. Be sure to check out his new book that features interviews with Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee and members of the Robertson family!”

In Starnes’ new book, he uses a collection of true stories and interviews with Palin, former governor of Alaska; Robert Jeffress, author and megachurch pastor; and others to demonstrate that we live in a day when right is perceived to be wrong and wrong right. Starnes says the White House is waging an all-out assault on religious liberty, public schools are indoctrinating our children with the gospel of secularism, and Hollywood is spewing toxins into our homes.

Robertson and Starnes will be making appearances at the International Christian Retail Show. Starnes will present the Christian Retailing’s Best awards Tuesday, 9-10 p.m., at ICRS on the Creative Pavilion stage.

Robertson and son Alan Robertson will give the keynote address at the Celebration Showcase on Sunday evening (7:30-9:30 p.m.), provide a devotion at Monday’s Opening Ceremony (8-8:30 a.m.), and thank CBA retailers for their support at the Monday VIP Member Reception (10-11 a.m.). The Sunday Celebration Showcase is part of the Change a Life Festival (3-9:30 p.m.) and is open to the public.
