WhitakerHouseEdColeGroupPhoto-webThis week Whitaker House and Anchor Distributors began publishing and distributing worldwide the entire collection of books by the late Edwin Louis Cole and his ministry, Christian Men’s Network, under the trade name Resolute Books.

Bob Whitaker Jr., president of Whitaker Corp., and Joann Cole Webster, publisher of Watercolor Books, said their partnership includes 18 repackaged Ed Cole classics featuring new forewords written by Christian leaders who support the ongoing ministry to men, including Robert Morris, Brian Houston, Jack Hayford, Chuck Norris, Stan Toler, Casey Treat, Nick and Christine Caine, Ray Johnston, Sharon Daugherty and Jim Garlow.

“After publishing Ed Cole’s landmark Maximized Manhood, it’s an honor for Whitaker House to help carry on Ed Cole’s legacy through this excellent line of books,” Whitaker said.

Webster said the company has distributed more than a million of Ed Cole’s books in the past decade.

“We are confident this new publishing arrangement will expand the ministry to men exponentially,” Webster said.

“Dr. Cole’s teaching on manhood, marriage and family is desperately needed, and we’re in position to help reach millions of men with what it means to be godly husbands and fathers,” said John Whitaker, Whitaker Corp. vice president and head of Anchor Distributors.

Known worldwide as “the father of the Christian men’s movement,” Ed Cole inspired millions through the ministry he founded in 1977, Christian Men’s Network. His books created the core of the Majoring in Men curriculum, the most widely used men’s training system in the world.

Today, the ministry is active in more than 100 nations under the leadership of Cole’s son, Paul Louis Cole. The younger Cole’s book Daring is one of the titles published under the Resolute Books label.

“Our mission has never changed,” Paul Cole stated. “Strong men make strong families and strong families make strong churches. Strong churches transform culture and, by the power of God, change the world.”

Ed Cole’s Real MenCourage and Irresistible Husband are among those releasing this week.
