KimPettit-WebChristian Trade Association International (CTAI) will stage its annual Korea Christian Rights Fair in Seoul, South Korea, prior to the Beijing International Book Fair in August.

“I am pleased to recommend the Korea Christian Rights Fair to our members worldwide,” said Kim Pettit, CTAI executive director. “This annual event offers a great opportunity to present your titles to editors at the leading publishing houses in one of the world’s most active licensing markets, whether or not you can travel to Seoul.”

The Korea fair will be held Aug. 22-23 at the Seokyo Hotel in Seoul, with the Beijing book fair following Aug. 28-Sept. 1.

The rights fair provides a significant opportunity for licensing and strengthening relationships with Christian publishers, goals that the Korea Christian Publishers Association (KCPA) is “very honored to support,” said Kim Seungtae, president of the KCPA, part of Christian Trade Korea, a member nation of CTAI.

He also observed that participants at last year’s event were “satisfied,” highlighting the convenience factor and the business opportunity afforded by the fair.
