Multi-platinum artist Chris Tomlin was named "Top Christian Artist," and his No. 1 hit "Our God" was honored for "Top Christian Song" during the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, held May 22 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Other "Top Christian Artist" finalists were Casting Crowns, MercyMe, Skillet and TobyMac. "Our God" was co-written by Tomlin, Jonas Myrin, Matt Redman and Jesse Reeves. Other finalists for "Top Christian Song" were "Live Like We're Dying" by Kris Allen; "All of Creation" by MercyMe; "Lead Me" by Sanctus Real; and "Get Back Up" by TobyMac.
