Based on "significant response" to Ann Voskamp's recently released New York Times best-selling memoir, One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are, Zondervan and the author have launched www.OneThousandGifts.com to give readers a place to share their everyday gifts as they count their way to 1,000.

Gift sharing is not limited to the Web site, as users are encouraged to "share blessings" on Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and YouTube, Zondervan said.

Released in January, One Thousand Gifts was on the New York Times Hardcover Advice & Miscellaneous best-seller list for three weeks last month and for the weeks of April 3 and April 10. The book has also has ranked regularly in the top 10 on Amazon.com and made the USA Today's best-seller list.

"We knew Ann had a strong following online and a lauded presence in the blog world, but we didn't expect the overwhelmingly huge grassroots movement her book has created," Don Gates, vice president of marketing for trade books at Zondervan, told Christian Retailing.

In One Thousand Gifts, Voskamp explores what it is to "fully live"—delving into the final scenes of Jesus' earthly life, taking bread and giving thanks.

DaySpring has selected One Thousand Gifts as the first title for its recently launched book club, bloom (in)courage. Chapter-discussion videos with Voskamp and questions are included on the Web site. Click here to learn more and here for more information on One Thousand Gifts.
