ECPA's new best-sellers Web site

The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) has unveiled a new Web site for its monthly best-seller lists.

Charts tracking the sales of books and Bibles in nine categories—including fiction, young adult and under-$5 titles—are now available at www.christianbookexpo.com, hosted by the Christian Book Expo site the organization established for its 2009 public event of the same name.

In addition to lists drawn from its PubTrack Christian data records, the ECPA site—under the banner "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, Rom. 12:2"—includes details of its annual Book Awards winners and gold, platinum and diamond sales award recipients. An author section features interviews and book trailers.

The site includes a link to Christian Book Distributors, while visitors who click on individual titles in the lists are also offered a link to CBA's store locator service to find the address of the nearest brick-and-mortar retailer.

February's top sellers are: 1. Jesus Calling by Sarah Young (Thomas Nelson); 2. Crazy Love by Francis Chan (David C. Cook); 3. Heaven Is for Real by Todd Burpo with Lynn Vincent (Thomas Nelson); 4. Jesus Calling, deluxe edition by Sarah Young (Thomas Nelson); 5. Radical by David Platt (Multnomah Books); 6. Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas (Thomas Nelson); 7. Choosing to See by Mary Beth Chapman with Ellen Vaughn (Revell/Baker Publishing Group); 8. Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson); 9. Streams in the Desert by L.B. Cowman, updated by Jim Reimann (Zondervan); and 10. Unlocked by Karen Kingsbury (Zondervan).

The top 10 selling Bibles for the same period are: 1. Text Bible, NKJV (Thomas Nelson); 2. Share the Good News Outreach New Testament, ESV (Crossway); 3. The One Year Bible, NIV, softcover (Tyndale House Publishers); 4. Gift and Award Bible, KJV, black leatherflex (Thomas Nelson); 5. ESV Outreach New Testament (Crossway); 6. The One Year Bible, NLT, softcover (Tyndale House Publishers); 7. The One Year Bible, NIV, softcover (Tyndale House Publishers); 8. NIV Thinline Bible, burgundy bonded leather (Zondervan); 9. NIV True Images, Italian Duo-Tone chocolate/bubble gum (Zondervan); and 10. ESV Thinline Value Bible, TruTone midnight/flame design (Crossway).

Book lists are based on trade discounted titles selling in at least 20% of reporting stores. Tracts and booklets are excluded.
