Christian authors among Reviewers’ Choice nominees Print Email

Several Christian authors have been named among the Romantic Times 2010 Reviewers' Choice Awards nominees in the Inspirational and Career Achievement categories.

Selected by a staff of more than 50 reviewers, the Reviewers' Choice Awards honor the best fiction books of 2010. The winners will be announced next spring.

The nominees in the Inspirational Career Achievement category are Brandilyn Collins, Lauraine Snelling, Melody Carlson and Terri Blackstock—all American Christian Fiction Writers members.

In the Inspirational Romance category, the nominees are Here Burns My Candle by Liz Curtis Higgs (WaterBrook Press); A Woman Called Sage by DiAnn Mills (Zondervan); While We're Far Apart by Lynn Austin (Bethany House/Baker Publishing Group) and Catching Moondrops by Jennifer Erin Valent (Tyndale House Publishers).

The nominees in the Inspirational Novel category are Beaded Hope by Cathy Liggett (Tyndale House); Rooms by James L. Rubart (B&H Books/B&H Publishing Group); Screen Play by Chris Coppernoll; and Priceless by Tom Davis (David C. Cook).

In the Inspirational Mystery/Suspense/Thriller category, the nominees are Burn by Ted Dekker and Erin Healy (Thomas Nelson); Deliver Us From Evil by Robin Caroll (B&H Books/B&H Publishing Group); They Almost Always Come Home by Cynthia Ruchti (Abingdon Press); and The Bishop by Steven James (Revell/Baker Publishing Group).

Under the Series category, Steeple Hill received a significant number of nominations, including Rocky Mountain Match by Pamela Nissen; Prairie Courtship by Dorothy Clark; Her Healing Ways by Lyn Cote; and Sabotage by Kit Wilkinson.
