Several Christian authors were honored with awards during the Romance Writers of America's (RWA) 29th Annual Conference, held July 15-18 in Washington, D.C.

Finding Stefanie by Susan May Warren (Tyndale House Publishers) won the RITA Award in the Best Inspirational Romance category. Lonestar Sanctuary by Colleen Coble (Thomas Nelson) won a Booksellers Best Award in the Inspirational Fiction category sponsored by the Greater Detroit RWA, and Where Do I Go? by Neta Jackson (Thomas Nelson) won the Inspirational Readers' Choice Award sponsored by RWA's Faith, Hope and Love chapter.

Regarded as the highest award of excellence in the genre of romance fiction, the RITA Award is named after RWA's first president, Rita Clay Estrada.
