The third staging of an event for fans of Christian thriller writer Ted Dekker is sold out this weekend.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 6, the 2009 Gathering--a Nashville-area event named after celebrations described in Dekker's "The Circle Trilogy"--is expected to attract more than 500 participants who will take part in several activities, including a Q-and-A with the novelist, drama, dance and multimedia elements.

"We will have someone on site dedicated to streaming a ‘play by play' of what's happening," said Dekker's Web site. "While it's not a live video, you'll still get a taste of what more than 500 attendees are experiencing. So, if you can't come, tune in. Dive deep."

At last summer's event, Dekker fans were shown a preview screening of the movie House, based on his 2006 novel co-authored with Frank Peretti. In addition, attendees of The Gathering were given an advance copy of Dekker's novel Sinner.
