"We've been hosting Teen Mania events for 20 years now, and millions of kids have learned how to follow Jesus," said Teen Mania President and founder Ron Luce. "Wherever there is a movement of God, there is music, and I began to ask myself what the soundtrack to our movement would look like. EE-Taow gives our young people a means to express themselves and become part of a larger story. It's music by teens for teens."

Unhindered guitarist Pat Barrett added: "We were really intrigued by (EE-Taow Records) and eager to be a part of it. We are honored that EE-Taow has entrusted us with being the first to carry out its vision."

EE-Taow is a phrase from Papua New Guinea, which means, "It is true. It is real." The Mouk people said the phrase after hearing about God from a missionary, according to Teen Mania. EE-Taow Records is being distributed in both Christian and mainstream retail markets by EMI CMG Distribution.
