Gifts of Faith grows acquired line

Gifts of Faith is expanding the evangelistic Witness line it took on from Primus Source last year, with 30 new SKUs unveiled at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, held Jan. 12-19.

Among the new items is a line titled “Witness Kids Collection,” which brings primary colors to the five symbols created to provoke conversation and provide an opportunity for Christians to talk about their faith.

“The key for the success of the line has been it's a beautiful expression of one's faith,” said Brian Schroeder, director of sales for Christian brands, whose divisions include Gifts of Faith. “It appeals to a broad range of consumers because you can speak to others about what the symbolism means, or you can just have cool symbols.”

With price points between $1.50 and $23, the expanded line—inspired by the book Witness by Debbi Webb and Mary Owen—is being supported with a new display unit. The line includes jewelry, decals, stones, candles and water bottles.

Witness has been “a success story for us,” said Schroeder. “It's a great program, a great product line and a great message. When we took it over, we had a solid customer base, but I think they were starved for new products.”
